Step Four

By now, you probably know that certain cities in the world have a much bigger theater or film and television industry. If you're starting your acting career in one of these cities you'll have plenty of opportunities from the get-go. However, if you're not from any of the bigger cities such as London, Los Angeles or New York City, start small. As an inspiring actor who's just starting out, your town will probably have plenty of small time Productions which are absolutely great for getting that experience because those jobs are easier. Don't move to a big city as soon as you decide you want to be an actor. You need to check whether this is an impulsive decision, or you actually enjoy the craft and we'll be able to do this for a long time.
